What you have stated is true only if you believe that to be true. But the whole case-in-point is that there are people that don't adhere to you're beliefs. So in essence, you are preaching and not debating. A debate is based on accepted facts versus beliefs which are often underpinned by an emotional or spiritual sense of certainty. I was raised Catholic and I don't believe in the "devil". I do believe the Bible is symbolic and inspired by a belief in a deity but not the actual "word of a god". Symbolically, I have seen the "devil" in the form of drugs and violence and that is where the "true" churches should be volunteering. Peace.
